About Gary

Gary has over 10 years of environmental compliance experience in the Waste Management, Construction and Haulage sectors. Gary’s experience includes working within waste management companies in varied logistics and operations management roles, as well as the environmental management of waste processing facilities which allows Gary to understand the diverse challenges facing his clients’ businesses.

Gary holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Environmental Management and a Post- Graduate Diploma in Geographic Information Systems. As an Environmental Consultant Gary has assisted over 250 waste collectors apply for and remain compliant with their waste collection permits. Gary has also assisted a variety of clients in applying for both planning permission and permits for varied waste facilities such as from landfills, material recovery facilities, end-of-life vehicle processors and baling stations. Other works include environmental reports in support of planning applications and site suitability studies.

In 2020, in response to the coronavirus pandemic, Gary developed the first and only online training course for Waste Collection Permit holders available in Ireland. Gary has experience in providing expert witness testimony in environmental and planning civil law cases as well as evidence analysis on behalf of clients opposing criminal charges.
